How to identify your Click-to-Call and Texting providers if you are not sure.

Written by Amber Burr

This step asks for two separate things: your Click-to-Call Provider and your Texting Provider. It is common for dealers to not immediately recognize these names, so here is how to find them.

Click-to-Call Provider

Check a recent invoice from your call tracking or marketing vendor. Providers you might see include CarWars, CallRevu, TotalCX, and PurpleCloud. If you do not have a call tracking service at all, select No Third Party / DriveCentric Call Tracking. If you have a third party provider but do not see them on the list, reach out to them directly to get started. If they are already part of our partner program, they will walk you through the integration.

Texting Provider

Choose DriveCentric (powered by Bandwidth) if you would like us to set up a texting number for you right here during onboarding. If you already have a texting number through another provider, select that provider instead and our team will follow up to get it connected.

If You Choose DriveCentric as Your Texting Provider

Selecting DriveCentric here means a few extra things get set up in this same step.

Here is what to expect:

  • You will set up your new texting number. This happens right here in the wizard. No separate signup, no waiting on anyone else.

  • You will tell us where to route callbacks. Give us your main line, your existing sales or dealership number, so when a customer calls your new texting number back, they land in the right place.

  • You will decide who updates your website. Your texting number needs to be registered on a TCR Campaign, this is simply what keeps your texts from getting flagged as spam, and that requires some updates to your website. Choose whether you would like DriveCentric to make those updates for you or whether your team would rather handle them yourselves.

  • You will upload your W9. We need this to get your brand created and verified so your texts go out under your dealership's name.
