The Activity Tab on the Customer Deal Card is your home base for day-to-day follow-up. From here, you can communicate with customers, log activity, and schedule what’s next—all in one place.
Use the Activity Tab to:
Complete and log customer follow-up activities
Schedule future tasks and appointments
View a complete history of past interactions on the deal
Activity Tab Actions
Notes
Use the Notes tab to log internal notes related to the deal.
Notes are visible to your team and stay attached to the customer record
You can @mention another user to notify them of a note, question, or comment you’ve left
Calls
The Call option works differently depending on your store setup.
If your store uses Click-to-Call
Select the number you want to call
Choose the number you want to call from
Click Call to place the call directly from DriveCentric
If your store does not use Click-to-Call
Select a call outcome
Click Log Call to record your phone call attempt
Use the Email tab to send emails directly from the customer card.
Templates
Select an email template from the dropdown at the top or the folder icon near the Send button
Or, write your own email—your signature will be automatically added if no template is selected
Templates are available for Email and Text only.
Virtual Contact File
Contact card icon in the bottom left next to the paperclip icon
It's a digital business card that you can send to customers (via text or email). The customer opens the link and saves you as a contact so your contact, helping to prevent future messages from being caught in spam filters.
The vCard pulls the following from the sending user's profile:
First Name
Last Name
Dealership Name
Dealership Address
Phone Number (the number the user is sending from)
Message Impersonation
Text
Use the Text tab to message customers quickly and conveniently.
Text Opt-In
The first text message must be an opt-in message
The customer must consent before you can continue texting
To send the opt-in message in Spanish, click the green ENG button

Once the customer opts in, you can:
Send texts freely
Add emojis
Send GIFs
Add text templates
Use Genius Reply, if you store has this feature enabled
Add attachments

Keyboard Shortcuts (Email & Text)
You can quickly send messages using keyboard shortcuts from the Activity Tab:
PC: Ctrl + Enter
Mac: Command + Enter
Video
To send a video from your desktop, click the Video tab.
A desktop camera and microphone are required
If you don’t have one, you can still send videos using the DriveCentric mobile app

Live Rooms
If your store has Live Rooms, you’ll first choose whether to:
Record a Video, or
Start a Live Room
Click the red Record button to begin.

Tasks
Use the Task tab to schedule follow-up reminders.
Select the task type, date, and time
Click Save to schedule the task
With the right permissions, you can also:
Assign tasks to other users using the Assign to me dropdown
Appointments
The Appointment tab is used to schedule dealership visits.
Default appointment type is Sales
You can also choose Service, Delivery, or General
Select a date and time, then click Save
With the appropriate permissions, you can:
Schedule appointments for other users using the Assign to me dropdown
