What a Recap or Summary Sheet is, and why real deal examples matter for setup.

Written by Amber Burr

Desking asks for real example deals so we can configure your rates, terms, and fees correctly from day one.

One required item is your Recap or Summary Sheet. This is the final numbers page your DMS prints once a deal is finalized. It is sometimes called a deal recap or a buyer's order. If that name does not ring a bell, ask your F&I manager, since they will recognize it right away.

We know gathering six deals worth of screenshots takes a few extra minutes. Real examples let us set up your rates, terms, and fees correctly the first time, which saves you from needing corrections after you are already live.
