The Toyota Smart Path / Lexus Monogram is a digital retailing tool that is available to Toyota and Lexus dealers. It provides both an online and in-store digital retailing experience!

Through Smart Path / Lexus Monogram, customers can start their purchase either online or in the showroom.

Online Smart Path / Lexus Monogram allows customers the ability to structure their own deals including:

  • Selecting a vehicle

  • Estimating Trade Value

  • Applying for credit

  • Estimating payments

The tool is available for Tier 1, 2, and 3 websites, which include local and national Toyota/Lexus websites, along with the dealership's website. Smart Path / Lexus Monogram deals that begin online will come into DriveCentric with a source type of ILM.

When a customer who began online comes into the showroom, the salesperson will continue the deal using the MST tool on an iPad. The MST tool will search DriveCentric for a matching customer and allow the salesperson to select a customer that already exists within Drive.

When a customer decides to start in the showroom, the salesperson will begin the deal in the MST (Smart Path / Lexus Monogram) tool on a provided iPad. This tool gives the ability to send the deal information into DriveCentric so that the salesperson can print their deal documents and complete the follow up after the visit and/or sale.

When a showroom deal starts in MST and the information is sent into Drive, the customer will be automatically checked into the store!

In the event that a salesperson selects to start a new deal instead of selecting an existing customer within DriveCentric, a skate alert will be generated when the new profile has been created through the MST push to DriveCentric.

If Showroom Up:

  • The customer will be automatically checked into the showroom, ONLY in the first instance of the lead. Any subsequent lead updates will NOT check the customer into the showroom.

  • The 'lead' will skip the sidebar on both the INITIAL and SUBSEQUENT instances.

  • the lead source will be labeled as Showroom / MST-SP or MST-FR

If Phone Up:

  • The customer will not be checked into the showroom.

  • The lead will land on the sidebar.

  • The lead can be matched as a Possible Duplicate.

  • The lead source will be Phone / MST-SP or MST-FR.

Within DriveCentric, the users will see either a Smart Path or Monogram button under the section labeled 'Toyota' or 'Lexus' once Smart Path or Monogram opportunity is received.

Below underlined in green is where you will find the source as well as Smart Path:

Here is an image showing where to find Monogram:

Clicking either the Smart path or Monogram button will show a list of details by interested vehicle. This is shown below:

By clicking on the vehicle, the user will see the deal information sent by the MST tool or the deal that was submitted online by the customer:
