Permissions: Manage Store Access or higher

The Customer Tags section in Store Settings gives managers full control over every tag used in the CRM.

Here, you can create, view, archive, unarchive, and delete tags—keeping your dealership’s tagging system clean and consistent.

Accessing Customer Tags

  1. Go to Store Settings.

  2. Select Customer Tags from the left-hand menu.

Creating New Tags

  • Click Add Tag to create a new label.

  • Give it a clear, descriptive name such as “High Priority,” “Trade-In,” or “Lease Renewal.”

  • Once created, the tag becomes immediately available for all users in your store to apply.

Tip: Keep tag names short and easy to recognize so your team uses them consistently.

Search

  • Use the search bar at the top to search for a tag

Live Tab

This tab lists all active tags currently in use throughout the CRM.

Information Displayed

Each tag displays the following details:

  • Tag Name

  • Created By (user who created it)

  • Created Date

  • Customer Count (how many customers currently have that tag)

Actions

Use the menu icon (⋮) to the right of each tag to take action.

You can:

  • Edit: Rename or modify the tag name.

  • Archive: This removes the ability to add the tag to new customers, but the tag remains on customers who already have it.

Note: Archiving a tag does not delete it permanently. It will move to the Archived tab and can be restored at any time.

Archived Tab

This tab lists all tags that have been archived (soft deleted) from the system but are not yet permanently removed.

Information Displayed

Each archived tag shows

  • Tag Name

  • Created By

  • Created Date

  • Customer Count (at time of archival)

Actions

Use the menu icon (⋮) to the right of each tag to manage it.

You can:

  • Restore: Unarchive the tag. It becomes visible again in the CRM and reattaches to all customers who had it previously.

  • Delete: Permanently remove the tag and all its data from the system.

Warning: Deleting a tag is irreversible. Once deleted, the tag is removed from all customers, and is no longer available.
