Post delivery photos in seconds

With SNAP Delivery Photos, your team can quickly share sold-car moments to your dealership’s Facebook Page—right from the DriveCentric mobile app. The photo is also emailed to the customer (when a valid email is on file) and added as their profile picture in DriveCentric.

With this feature you can:

  • Capture a delivery photo and instantly publish it to your store’s Facebook Page

  • Automatically send the customer a copy of their delivery photo

  • Update the customer’s profile picture in DriveCentric

  • Keep your social feed active with real customer deliveries

Note: A customer can receive only one SNAP every 24 hours.

Enable SNAP for Your Store

Quick setup for Expert-level users

SNAP must be enabled in DriveCentric before connecting to Facebook.

In order to configure SNAP, you must:

  • Be an Expert User in DriveCentric

  • Be an Admin of the dealership’s Facebook Business Page (not just META Business Suite)

  • Have direct Page Access to the dealership Facebook Page under your personal Facebook login

  • Accept any outstanding Facebook Page Access Invites before setup

To confirm Facebook Page Access:

  1. Log into your personal Facebook

  2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Page Setup → Page Access

  3. Ensure your name appears under people with access

If you need to be granted access, you will need to accept the invite before setting up SNAP. You can accept this invite via your notifications on your personal Facebook page or by navigating to this link while logged into your personal Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/pages/?category=invites

Connect SNAP to Facebook

Store-level configuration

Once user permissions are correct:

This feature includes:

  • Go to Store Settings → Integrations → Social Media

  • Click Launch SNAP Configuration

  • Log into Facebook and select your dealership’s Business Profiles

  • Return to DriveCentric and choose the correct Business Page from the dropdown

  • Repeat for all additional stores if your group has multiple rooftops

A completed configuration will display your selected Facebook Page inside the SNAP setup screen.

If the page does not appear, the integration must be re-enabled.

Facebook requires reauthorization every 60 days.

Facebook restrictions/rules per meta.ai:
There could be several reasons why some users are experiencing automatic permission grants while others are not. Here are a few possibilities:

  1. Previous Permission Grants: If a user has previously granted the required permissions to your app, Facebook may remember those permissions and automatically grant them when the user re-logs in. However, if the user has revoked permissions or it has been a significant amount of time since they last granted permissions, they may be prompted to grant them again.

  2. Facebook's Permission Management: Facebook has a permission management system that allows users to control which apps have access to their data. If a user has previously granted permissions to your app, but has since revoked them or restricted access, they may be prompted to grant permissions again.

  3. Device and Browser Settings: The device and browser settings of the user may also play a role in how permissions are handled. For example, if a user is using a different browser or device, they may be prompted to grant permissions again.

  4. App Review and Approval: If your app has undergone significant changes or has been subject to Facebook's app review process, you may need to re-submit your app for approval. In this case, users may be prompted to grant permissions again.

  5. User Privacy Settings: Users have control over their privacy settings on Facebook, and they may have opted to review permissions for every login or require more strict control over their data. In this case, they would be prompted to grant permissions every time they log in.
