What Is the AutoSoft, AutoMate, and PBS Integration?
AutoSoft, AutoMate, and PBS are DMS platforms, short for Dealer Management System. A DMS is the software your store already uses to track deals, inventory, and accounting. Connecting it to DriveCentric lets both systems share information automatically, so your team is not entering the same deal twice.
These three platforms connect through a partner called Motive Retail, so the setup looks a little different from other DMS connections. Your part is still short. You complete one form, sign it, and send it back.
Completing and Returning the Form
The form has to be filled out by your Dealer Operator or another authorized signer.
Work through the form in this order:
Open the form in your Onboarding Wizard.
Have your Dealer Operator or another authorized signer fill it out.
Sign the form and upload it back into the Onboarding Wizard.

When Historical Data Is Also Needed
If your store has been on its current DMS for less than five years, there is one more possible step, and what you do depends on your platform:
AutoSoft or AutoMate means you will be asked to request a historical data export from your previous DMS provider and send it to a secure link that will be provided to you.
PBS means DriveCentric requests that historical export directly, so there is nothing you need to do for this part.
If your store has been on its current DMS longer than five years, this step does not apply to you.
What Happens After You Send the Form Back
Your Implementation Specialist submits your form to Motive Retail to get the integration activated. There is nothing else you need to do while that is in progress.
Once Motive Retail confirms the integration is complete, your Implementation Specialist finishes connecting your DMS to your store in DriveCentric, including bringing in any historical data that was requested.
Good to Know
Motive Retail is the partner that activates the connection for AutoSoft, AutoMate, and PBS, so the timing depends on them as well as on DriveCentric.
An authorized signer has to sign the form. Your Dealer Operator is typically the right person.
Historical data only comes up when your store has been on its current DMS for less than five years.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I find the form?
It is in your Onboarding Wizard. You fill it out there, sign it, and upload it back into the same place.
Who has to sign the form?
Your Dealer Operator or another authorized signer at your store.
Do I have to request the historical data export myself?
That depends on your platform. On AutoSoft and AutoMate you request it from your previous DMS provider and send it to a secure link. On PBS, DriveCentric requests it, so there is nothing for you to do.
