What Is the DealerTrack Integration?
DealerTrack is a DMS, short for Dealer Management System. It is the software your store already uses to track deals, inventory, and accounting. Connecting it to DriveCentric lets both systems share information automatically, so your team is not entering the same deal twice.
Your part has two pieces. You turn on data sharing inside DealerTrack, then you hand your DealerTrack credentials to DriveCentric. Everything after that happens on the DriveCentric side.
Turning On Data Sharing in DealerTrack
Your Implementation Specialist will send you setup instructions for DealerTrack.
DealerTrack controls what information it is willing to share. Turn on data sharing for these four categories, one at a time:
Customers
Vehicles
Deals
Service
DealerTrack has a select all option, but it does not work correctly. Select each of the four categories individually.

Finding and Sharing Your DealerTrack Credentials
DriveCentric needs your DealerTrack credentials to make the connection. To find them and hand them over:
Look in the bottom right corner of your DealerTrack screen.
Add those credentials to your Onboarding Wizard.

What Happens After You Send Your Credentials
Once your Implementation Specialist has your credentials, they finish connecting DealerTrack to your store in DriveCentric. There is nothing else you need to do.
Good to Know
The select all option in DealerTrack does not work correctly, so each category has to be turned on individually.
All four categories need to be turned on: Customers, Vehicles, Deals, and Service.
Your setup instructions come from your Implementation Specialist, so watch for those before you start.
