Why is it being implemented?

With the introduction of the new FTC Safeguard rules (ftc.gov link) that are being implemented, DriveCentric CRM is taking the necessary steps to protect your data and your customers' data.

The new MFA-based login process is crucial to your dealership's cybersecurity measures.

What is it?

Multi-Factor Authentication, or MFA, is the login process by which you as a DriveCentric User are required to enter either:

(a) a six-digit authentication code that is texted to your cell phone number (from your profile in User Management)

(b) an authentication code that is accessed via their TOTP authentication application which can be enabled in My Settings β†’ Security after the initial MFA login process which requires text message authentication.

How does it work?

You will be prompted once a day per device to MFA after you input your DriveCentric CRM login Username and Password.
