The Fees Tab can be accessed by clicking on the Desking Icon (calculator), opening an Active Desk, and then clicking on the gear icon. This will take you to your Desking Settings for the Dealership.
NOTE: Fees are a global setting, this means that if you alter the settings within this tab, it will change the settings for everyone else in the store as well.
Here is a screenshot of what the Fees tab looks like on the desking settings:
There are four different categories in Fees: Type, New/Used, Description, and Value!
To the right of those, you can select Use, In Cap, Tax In Cap, and Tax to your preferences!
Type: The options under Type include... All (Cash, Retail, and Lease), Retail Only, and Lease Only).
New/Used: The options under New/Used include... All (New and Used), New Only, and Used Only.
Use: Enabling this checkbox will apply the fee to the desks automatically but can manually be enabled/disabled in each individual desk.
In Cap: This applies for leases only. Enabling this checkbox will place this fee in the cap (finance charge applied) instead of having it due upfront (inception fees).
Tax In Cap: Enabling this checkbox will apply the tax rate to this fee and place that amount in the cap.
Tax: Enabling this checkbox will apply the tax rate to this fee.
