With the CARFAX integration, you can access a vehicle's full CARFAX history report directly from your inventory in DriveCentric β no need to switch tabs or search for the vehicle manually.
Where to Find It
The CARFAX button is available on the Inventory Detail screen for any vehicle in your inventory, both new and used. You can get there two ways:
Open the Inventory Tool from the main menu and select any vehicle.
Select a vehicle from a Customer Card to open its detail screen.
Once you're on the detail screen, look for the CARFAX button to the left of the Add to Deal button.
Logging In to CARFAX
The first time you use the CARFAX button, you'll need to log in with your dealer-issued CARFAX credentials.
Here's what to expect:
Click the CARFAX button. The CARFAX login page will open in a new browser tab.
Log in using your CARFAX credentials.
Once logged in, you'll be automatically taken to the CARFAX report for the vehicle you were viewing β no need to look it up again.
Once you're logged in, your session stays active for up to 3 months. You won't need to log in again until your session expires.

Does the CARFAX button work for both new and used vehicles? Yes. The CARFAX button is available on the Inventory Detail screen for all vehicles, regardless of whether they are new or used.
What CARFAX account do I use to log in? Use the CARFAX credentials provided by your dealership. If you're not sure what those are, check with your manager or administrator.
How long does my CARFAX login last? Your session stays active for up to 3 months. After that, you'll be prompted to log in again the next time you use the CARFAX button.
