What Is the GM Integration?
General Motors, or GM, needs a few steps directly from your dealership before DriveCentric can start receiving your GM leads and setting up integrations like GM Card, GM Search, and Vehicle Locate. CRM is short for Customer Relationship Management system, the software your team works leads and deals in.
These steps happen inside GM's own systems, not in DriveCentric, so they have to come from your team. Your Implementation Specialist provides a PDF that walks you through selecting DriveCentric as your vendor.
Telling GM You Are Switching to DriveCentric
Contact GM directly and let them know you are switching your CRM to DriveCentric. That starts GM's process for setting up your integration.
Finding the GM CID Program Enrollment Form
Work through this in Global Connect, GM's dealer portal:
Log into Global Connect.
Go to App Center.
Click the Dealer Program Enrollment tile, also shown as DPE.
On the bottom left, locate the Programs box and look for GM CID Program Enrollment.
Where that form sits depends on whether your store has submitted it before:
Never submitted before: The form is under My Available Programs.
Already enrolled and changing your CRM vendor: The form is under My Enrollments. Click GM CID Program Enrollment, then select Edit Enrollment.
Selecting DriveCentric as Your Vendor
Once you are in the enrollment form, update your program selections:
Click the Program Selection tab.
Under CRM Sales and CRM Service, select DriveCentric.
Click SAVE to submit your updates.
Updates typically take 3 to 5 days to process.
What Happens After You Complete These Steps
Once you have contacted GM and finished the enrollment and vendor selection steps, GM sends a series of confirmation emails to DriveCentric. From there, your Implementation Specialist works directly with GM to finish connecting your leads and integrations, including setting up secure access on GM's side.
This part of the process can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on how quickly GM processes the request.

How long until my GM leads start coming in?
