Marking an Open Deal "Dead" in DriveCentric is something important to remember, as it will help you manage your Sales Pipeline more effectively.

These deals can be marked dead for a handful of reasons, but the main reasons are listed below:

  • Bought Elsewhere

  • Cross Sell

  • Due to Process

  • Finance Declined

  • Inactivity on Deal

  • No Agreement

  • Old Deal Killed

  • Other

  • Bad Contact Info

  • Bad Lead or ILM

  • Dealer Purchase

  • Handraiser/Tradeshow

  • Service/Parts Lead

  • Test Lead

  • Transferred

Once you get to the point where you determine there is no opportunity to sell the customer a vehicle you can mark the deal dead by clicking the Dead button (check out the article about "How to Manage Your Sales Pipeline"). Enter a note as to why you are marking the deal dead, select your reason from the list available, and click the Kill Deal button.

Here are a few other articles that discuss the importance of marking Deals "Dead" that the team is no longer contacting, or the customer is no longer contacting the Sales Team:

If you have any questions about the Roadmap to the Sale icon, please reach out to your Customer Success Team by clicking on the Support Icon found in the bottom right-hand corner of DriveCentric!
