There are two ways to redistribute customers. This can be done through User Management in Store Settings or through Mining.
User Management
Prerequisite Permissions: Redistribute
The Round Robin tab inside a user’s profile under User Management allows you to reassign a user’s customers—including open deals—to other users in the store.
It specifically redistributes customers where the user is listed as the Salesperson or Sales BDC.
Important: Customers where the user is listed as the Closer or Service BDC will not be redistributed through this process.
To redistribute customers:
1. Click your user account in the top-right corner.
2. Select Store Settings.
3. In the left-hand menu, choose User Management.
4. Find and select the user whose customers need to be reassigned.
5. Click the Round Robin tab.
6. Choose which users will receive the redistributed customers.
7. Click the Redistribute button at the top of the window.
8. Confirm the action when prompted—this action cannot be undone.
Mining
Required Permissions: Redistribute
Need to rebalance your customer list across your team? The Redistribute feature in Mining lets you bulk-reassign customers to your sales staff using round-robin logic, so no one is overloaded and no customer falls through the cracks.
Where to Find It
Go to Mining in DriveCentric.
Apply filters to narrow your list to the customers you want to redistribute.
Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the Mining view.
Select Redistribute.
How to Redistribute
In the Redistribute modal, select the users or user types you want to assign customers to. Customers will be distributed evenly using round-robin logic.
Review the preview to confirm the distribution looks right.
Click Redistribute to start. The modal closes and redistribution runs in the background.
You'll see a yellow "Customer Redistribution in Progress" notice at the bottom of your screen, followed by a green "Customer Redistribution is Complete" confirmation when it's done.
Good to Know
Your list must be 15,000 records or fewer to use Redistribute. If your list is too large, apply additional filters to narrow it down before trying again.
Redistributions over 2,000 customers may take a couple of minutes.
This action cannot be undone, so double-check your user selection before confirming.
Only one redistribution can run at a time per store. If one is already in progress, you'll see a message letting you know to try again in a few minutes.
Use the Latest Reassignment filter in Mining to see when customers were last redistributed.
Check the Yesterday's Reassigned Customers default segment to review recent activity.
