If you have taken a Video and you want to use that Video in the future to send to customers, you are in luck! As long as you have the appropriate permissions enabled you can upload videos to the DriveCentric Video Library from both your Mobile Application and Desktop:

Uploading through the Mobile App

Users can view video upload progress and completion through the mobile application menu.

  1. Click on the DriveCentric logo on an iPhone or the Hamburger icon on an Android in the upper left to access the mobile menu.

  2. Click on the DriveCentric logo on an iPhone or the Hamburger icon on an Android in the upper left to access the mobile menu.

  3. Select the Video Library from the menu list.

  4. Click the plus sign in the upper right.

  5. Select whether you want to take a new video or select a video from your phone camera roll (must have permission in User Management).

  6. Enter a Name and Description for your video then click Upload.

Uploading through the Desktop Application

Required Permission: Store Video Access and Manage Store

  1. Click on the user account button and select Store Settings.

  2. Select Video Library from the menu on the left.

  3. Click Upload Video

  4. Choose the file, enter a name, tags and description.

  5. Click Upload.

Video File Size Limitation

There is a maximum file size of 20MB that can be uploaded to the DriveCentric Video Library. Videos sent will not be affected by a file size limitation as we the files are uploaded to the DriveCentric system and the customer is sent a link to the video via text, or a thumbnail linked to the video via email.

If your video files are greater than 20MB, you can use this Free Video Compressor software online to reduce the file size:

The email attachment file size limitation is 25MB for all email providers. Text is going to be 5 mb.

While we don’t have a file size limitation that affects sending videos the upload process is going to depend on the file size against the user’s upload speed. The larger the file size the slower the upload speed.
