Where to Find It
The recorder is right where you send everything else to a customer.
Open the customer's card.
Tap the video icon at the top, just under the customer's name.
If the customer has no email or cell number on file, the video option will be greyed out.
How to Use It
Pick a recording mode
When the recorder opens, you'll choose between two modes:
Pro Mode for standard, high-quality video. Records in 4K and lets you pause and resume to capture several clips in one take.
FX Mode for short, social-style video in portrait, with face filters.
Record your video
Tap the record button to start.
Tap pause anytime to stop and line up your next clip, then resume.
While recording you can flip between the front and rear camera and turn your store logo on or off.
Pause, then tap stop to finish.
Edit your clips
After you stop, you'll land in the editor. From here you can:
Trim clips and split them where you want
Drag clips to reorder them
Add background music
Fade between clips for a smoother flow
Pull in photos and video from your camera roll
Tap Add to record another clip or grab one from your library
Sending the video
Choose how to send the video:
Email: Can edit the subject line and body of email.
Text: Customer must be opted in to texting. Can edit the message.
Tap Send Video
Good to Know
Your resolution and frame rate settings save between sessions, so you only set them once.
Face filters show up only if your store has them turned on.
Videos you record are saved to your Video Library, so you can resend them later.
