Videos can be sent from the desktop or mobile application. To shoot and send a personalized video from your desktop application you will need a camera and microphone on your computer. The customer will need to have a valid email address or a phone number that has been opted in to texting on their profile to send a desktop personalized video!
Desktop:
Step 1) Open the customer deal card and navigate to the activity tab.
Step 2) Select the video tab.
Step 3a (Stores with Live Rooms) If your store has Live Rooms you will see an option to Record a Video or Create a Live Room. Select Record a Video.
Step 3b (Stores without Live Rooms) )For stores without LiveRooms the system will default to the Record a Video mode.
Step 4) Click the red button to begin recording your video!
Step 5) Once you are done recording, you will see this screen and be able to make further personalizations.
From whom it's being sent
Choose an email address or text number
For an email, you can change the subject line.
You can change the message for both email and text.
When done personalizing, click "Send Video".
Text
Mobile:
Step 1) To send a video from your mobile application start by opening the customer deal card.
Step 2a) iOS Users - Click the Plus button in the bottom right of the customer deal card.
Step 2b) Android Users - Navigate to the activity tab and click the Plus button in the bottom right of the customer deal card.
Step 3) Select Video from your mobile action menu.
Step 4) Users with permission to access their phone library and/or DriveCentric library will see an option to either Take a Video, Select from the Camera Roll or Select from the DriveCentric Library. Select Take a Video.
Step 5) Shoot your video. Click the red button to start shooting. You can utilize face filters by clicking the mask button.
Step 6) After you've finished recording select how to send the video. If using email select which video template you'd like to use. Customers must be opted in to texting to send the video as a text.
Step 7) Click Send Video.
