Trouble uploading a video? We get it—when your video won’t upload, it’s frustrating. But don’t worry, we’ll walk you through the steps to fix it.
1. First, check for app updates
Make sure you’re using the latest version of the DriveCentric app.
Head to the App Store or Google Play and check for updates.
2. Check your internet connection
A slow or spotty connection can delay uploads—or stop them entirely.
Try switching from Wi-Fi to your mobile data to test the difference.
If the video uploads faster on mobile data, your Wi-Fi may be the issue.

3. Look at the video file size
Modern phones shoot in high resolution, which means larger file sizes.
Large files can get stuck in the upload queue. Here’s what can increase video size:
Lots of movement
High-resolution settings
Bright colors
Lengthy or loud audio
To check your video’s file size, go to your video queue. Anything over 100MB is on the large side.
4. Lower your camera resolution
To reduce file size, go into your phone settings and lower the video resolution.
This won’t impact the customer experience—videos are viewed on phones or computers, not HD TVs.
🔧 Quick Tip
If you’re reaching out to support, send a screenshot of your video queue.
It helps us troubleshoot faster.
