How to place a call using Click-to-Call on mobile
Open the customer card for the person you want to call.
Tap the Phone icon in the primary action buttons.
Choose which number to dial:
From Mobile
From Work (if a work phone is on file)
Other
Cancel
Select the number. The call is placed through your Click-to-Call provider, which rings your handset and then connects the customer.
An in-call banner appears across the top of the home screen and customer card. It displays the customer's name and a running call timer.
While the call is active
Move freely between the home screen and the customer card. The banner stays visible so it is clear a call is in progress.
Look up inventory, review customer history, send a text or email to another contact, or handle anything else in the app. Nothing is locked or read-only during the call.
Tap the banner at any point to open Call Summary and take notes mid-call.
To hide the banner, swipe up on it or long-press it and select Hide. The call continues, notes are preserved, and Call Summary still opens when the call ends. Once hidden, the banner does not return for that call.
When the call ends
The banner disappears and Call Summary opens automatically. This happens for every call outcome, including no answer, busy, voicemail, and failed calls.
Enter the call outcome and notes, then save to log the call against the customer.
If Call Summary is closed without saving, three options are presented:
Keep editing — return to the log
Log later — preserve the notes and outcome, and bring the banner back so the log can be finished
Discard — remove the log entirely
