What is the Conversations Tab?

The Conversation tab displays all communication with the customer and allows users the ability to:

  • Add notes

  • Send or reply to...

    • Email

    • Text

    • Video

The information on the Conversation tab is sorted from the newest information at the bottom, to the oldest at the top!

Note

You can add a Note by clicking the note table at the bottom of the Conversation tab window.

Type in the Note and click the 'Save' button. Once a character is typed into the Note dialogue box, the 'Save' button will turn green allowing users to click it.

Email

When composing a new email, simply click the Email tab, then type your message, and click send!

To reply to an email, click the 'Reply' tab under the message in the Conversation tab window.

The email dialogue box on the Conversation tab allows users with the Message Impersonation Permission to impersonate another user!

Under the Activity tab, users can utilize full email functionality with features (including but not limited to):

  • Inserting vehicles

  • Formatting the font

  • Inserting hyperlinks

  • Images

Text

In order to send a text on the conversations tab, click the Text tab at the bottom. Simply type your message, and click send!

Users have the ability not insert emojis, files, and GIFs in this tab. You can find this circled in red in the screenshot below.

Users with the Impersonation permission can impersonate other users through text on the Conversations tab.

Video

Users who have a desktop camera and microphone can take and send videos using the 'Video' option under the Conversation tab.
