The Open tab shows all the open deals for the customer! For customers who have more than one open deal, it displays the deal selected on the Deals tab.

The Open tab allows users the ability to modify the following (depending on data access and permissions):

  • Buyers

  • Salespeople

  • BDC

  • Closer

  • Interested Vehicles

  • Trade-Ins

Buyers

The 'primary buyer' is displayed in the buyers field on the left with their initials. By clicking the buyer's initials, the dialogue box will open. This displays the buyer's name and contact information.

Here is a screenshot to display where that is on the Customer Card:

Salespeople

The user that is assigned as Sales 1 is displayed with either their initials or profile picture in the left box under the Salespeople section.

The user that has been assigned as Sales 2 (if applicable) is displayed in the right box under 'Salespeople' with their initials or profile picture.

The Sales 2 slot has the same functions as the Sales 1 slot!

Here is a screenshot with arrows pointing to the location of both Sales 1 User and Sales 2 User!

BDC

The BDC slot will display the user's initials or profile picture assigned as the sales BDC.

If there is no user assigned as the BDC, the box will be a dotted line with a plus in the middle. It will look like this:

Closer

The Closer slot displays the user assigned as the Closer! Closers can be assigned:

  • Manually

  • Through a business rule

  • By the system when a user prints a desking proposa

When no closer is assigned, the box will be displayed with a dotted line and a plus sign in the middle. This is an example of what that looks like:

Interested Vehicles

The Interested Vehicles section will display vehicles added to the deal either through a lead or manually by a user!

Up to three vehicles can be added to an open deal.

Open slots are displayed by a dotted line box with a plus sign in the middle as shown below:

  • By clicking the plus sign in the middle of the dotted line box, a display of options to either add a custom vehicle or select from inventory will appear.

Trade-Ins

The Trade-Ins section displays all trade in vehicles that have been added to a deal! This can be done either through a lead or manually by a user.

Up to three trade-ins can be added to an open deal.

The open slots are displayed by a dotted line box with a plus sign in the middle as shown below:

  • Clicking the plus sign in the middle of the box will display Add Custom and (depending on the store's appraisal provider) Pull Appraisal.
