Internet and Campaign Lead Handling

What are Leads (Internet and Campaign)

Written by DriveCentric Support

When a brand new lead has been received in DriveCentric, it will be displayed on the notification bar under the lead drawer. It will stay there until a user completes an activity on the customer deal card.

Here is a screenshot showing where you can find new leads:

  • A user who has access to the lead will need to do one of the following to remove them from the notification bar:

    • Log/place a phone call

    • Send an email

    • Send a text

    • Send a video

  • Leads are color coded! This allows users to quickly see the type of opportunity they received.

  • Here is a chart explaining the different types of leads:

How Leads are Received in the CRM

OEM Lead Receipt

We have integrated with most OEMs to receive leads via direct post to a lead endpoint. This integration gives us the ability to send the lead disposition back to the OEM. See LMS for more information on OEM setup.

Lead Overrides

Leads that are sent from a source other than an integrated OEM are sent in ADF format (Auto-Lead Data Format) received in the AWS email inbox. Store must have a lead override setup in their Store Settings to receive leas through the email inbox. See Lead Overrides for setting up lead addresses.

Customers In Lead Status

Customers will remain in lead status until they become engaged! To become engaged, the customer needs to either:

  • Reply to an email

  • Reply to a text message

  • Have a phone call logged with the result Phone Conversation selected

Customers in lead status are located under the compass icon on the top menu bar as seen below!

Viewing Raw Lead Data

When a lead is received from a lead provider, you can view the data that has been received on the Customer Deal Card!

There are two location where the raw lead information can be found...

Customer Deal Card Header

By clicking on the lead source type and description in the customer deal card header, you can open the raw lead. Here is a picture of where to find that:

If the customer has submitted multiple leads, this will be noted with a number in brackets. In the header you will see a drop down list for customers with multiple leads when clicking the source type and description. Here you can select which raw lead you want to view from the list!

This is a screenshot of what a customer who has submitted multiple leads looks like as well as what the drop down will look like:

Customer Deal Card Activity Tab

When a lead has been received, it is noted on the Customer Deal Card in the Activity tab along with a link to the raw lead information!

To view the raw lead data, click View XML on the activity log.
