Edit Customer Information: Customer Card and Contact Card

Editing customer information.

As you are learning more information about your Customer, you can update a variety of Customer information found on the Customer Card. Some of this information includes the following:

  • Customer Name and Customer Contact Information (e.g. Phone Number, Email Address)

  • Customer Address (current and previous)

  • Customer Employment History (current and previous)

  • Customer Insurance

  • Customer References

There are two places on the Customer Card where you can edit the customer information at any point in time:

  1. Customer Card (credit app icon)

  2. Contact Card (green icon on the top right corner of the customer card)

Customer Card

When you open the Customer Card, you should see a few icons on the right-hand side. The icon to help edit the customer information is found in the "Credit App" icon. Once you click this icon, it will open the page where you can edit the customer's information for the future. Once you have made the changes to the customer profile, click the "Save" icon and it will save those changes on the customer card for the future.

Please note: For security reasons, the SSN and birthday year for the customer is only saved in the CRM for 12 hours after being added to the customer profile. This information will automatically be removed after the 12-hour period has passed.

Customer Contact Card

When you open the Customer Card, you should see the green tab icon on the top left-hand side. Once you click this icon, a sidebar menu should open where you can quickly edit customer information. When you want to edit the customer information, click on the "pencil" icon and this will open the editing page for the customer profile. Once you have made the changes to the customer profile, click the "Save" icon and it will save those changes on the customer card for the future.

Please note: For security reasons, the SSN and birthday year for the customer is only saved in the CRM for 12 hours after being added to the customer profile. This information will automatically be removed after the 12-hour period has passed.
