Accessing and Navigating the Inventory Menu

Get the most out of your inventory search

DriveCentric’s Inventory tool gives you full access to your store’s vehicle data — from detailed specs to active deals — right from the menu bar or a customer card.

Opening the Inventory Search

  • Click the car icon on your top menu bar to open the Inventory Search window.

  • From here, you can search, filter, and manage vehicles within your store’s inventory.

Meatball Menu (⋮)

The Meatball Menu in the Inventory tool gives users with the correct permissions the ability to:

  • Download inventory lists

  • Print results (limited to 100 vehicles or fewer)

If you try to print a list with more than 100 vehicles, an error will appear:

“Printed inventory lists are limited to 100 or fewer results.”

Filters

Filters help narrow down your results so you can find exactly what you’re looking for.

  • Click a filter category, check the boxes for the inventory options you want, and click Save.

  • If you click outside of the filter window before saving, your selections won’t be applied.

  • Filters that would return zero results won’t appear — keeping your options relevant.

Sorting Your Search Results

You can organize your search results in two ways:

Grid View:

  • Click the Sort dropdown (default is Recently Added) to reorder vehicles.

List View:

  • Click any column header to sort by that category.

  • Click the header again to reverse the order.

View Options

You can switch between:

  • Grid View – a visual layout of vehicles

  • List View – a detailed, table-style layout

Choose whichever works best for how you like to work.

Vehicle Details Screen

The Vehicle Details Screen displays expanded specs and data about each vehicle.

You’ll see categories like:

  • Exterior

  • Interior

  • Entertainment

  • Safety

  • Tech Specs

  • Equipment

Click the plus (+) next to each category to expand details.

You can also click See All Overview Details to view:

  • Number of Leads

  • Number of Deals

  • Last Lead Received Date

  • Vehicle Age

  • Open ROs

To open Vehicle Details:

  • In Grid View – Hover over the vehicle and click View Details.

  • In List View – Click anywhere in the row (except the plus sign).

Adding a Vehicle to a Deal

You can add vehicles to deals directly from your inventory search.

In Grid View:

  1. Hover over a vehicle and click Add to Deal.

  2. Search for a customer or select from the list of recent customers.

  3. Hover over the customer name and click Add.

  4. A success message will appear at the top of your screen.

In List View:

  1. Click the plus (+) sign in the vehicle row.

  2. Search or select a recent customer.

  3. Hover and click Add to attach the vehicle to the deal.
