How to @ someone. Leaving a note for another user. Mention a user to send them a notification.

Mentioning allows you to leave a note and send a notification to another user in your store on a customer card. Mentioning is available on both desktop and mobile applications!

Sending a Mention

Desktop

To use mentioning open a customer card and navigate to the activity tab.

In the note section type the @ symbol to open a list of users. You can continue typing to shorten the user list or scroll to select the user you want to mention.

After selecting a user type in your note and click save.

You can send a mention to all users using @all in the notes field! Mentioning is also available in Check Out notes, Snooze notes and Dead notes! Check out this video to see it in action!

Mobile

To mention another user on your mobile application open a customer deal card. Click the plus sign in the bottom right and select Note.

Once you've selected the note option in the note section type the @ symbol to open a list of users. You can continue typing to shorten the user list or scroll to select the user you want to mention.

Receiving a Mention

The user receiving the mention will receive mobile and desktop notifications.

Desktop

On the desktop application users receiving a mention will see those under the bell icon on the notification bar. Unread notifications including mentions will be signified by a number shown on top of the bell icon.

Clicking the bell icon will open the notification drawer. In the notification drawer there are two tabs: all and mentions. Mentions will be shown in both tabs. If a user wants to see only mentions they can click the mentions tab.

To remove the numerical count from the bell icon on the notification bar click on the mention to open and review the note left.

Mobile

The user receiving a mention will receive a push notification stating they have received a mention.

Users can access their mentions using the mobile menu bell icon. Clicking on the mention to open the customer card will remove the count from the bell icon on your mobile menu bar.
