How to edit an email template.

Email templates can be modified from the Templates menu in Store Settings. If the template is attached to a business rule you can also update your template directly in the rule.

From Store Settings Templates

Required Permission: Store Templates

Step 1) Click on your user account button and select Store Settings. From the menu on the left select Templates.

Step 2a) Select the folder for the template you need to update and click on the template.

Step 2b) Or, use the ellipsis icon on the right side of the template that needs to be edited.

Step 3a) Then click the "Edit" button located in the upper right corner.

Step 4) Make the wanted changes to the template.

  • Folder location

  • Template Name

  • Email Subject

  • Body of messagy

Step 4) Click Save once all changes are made.

From Store Settings Business Rules

Required Permission: Business Rules, Store Templates

Step 1) Click on your user account button and select Store Settings. From the menu on the left select Business Rules.

Step 2) Select the Business Rule category & subcategory if applicable and select the rule with the template that needs updated.

Step 3) Click on the message tab to view the email template.

Step 4) Make necessary changes and click Save.
