To start creating, or editing, your store's Email and Text Templates, you would first need to click on your initials in the top right corner of DriveCentirc and then select "Store Settings".

Note: If you do not have the appropriate permissions enabled, you will not be able to access Store Settings.

On the left side of the screen, you will see the option labeled "Templates". Here is where you can find all template categories, start the process of adding new templates, along with seeing the already created templates to edit as needed.

To add a new template, you can a) click "Add New" button to the right of Templates, OR b) click on the folder where you want the template to go and then click on "Add New" next to Templates.

Once clicked, you will see a few drop-down selections to choose from, as well as a few lines to manually enter information into:

  • Folder: which folder to do you want to categorize the template under

  • Template Name: what is the name of the template that will show to your team when selecting specific templates to send to customers

  • Subject: the subject line of the template that will be displayed to customers.

  • Message:

Note: From this screen, you can also add pre-built HTML code if used for your templates by using the following steps:

  1. Click the "Source" icon and a modal will pop up.

  2. Add your HTML code and click "Save".

Once you have saved your email template, your team will be able to find the templates under the Customer Card.

Email

Click on "Email" and then select the category for the template, and then the specific template you want to send to a customer. Or, click the folder icon at the bottom. This will allow you to view favorited templates and/or select favorite templates for easy retrieval.

Folder Icon

  • When you click on the folder icon, a modal will appear. From there you can choose from the available folders and templates.

  • Click on a template to see the preview. And click "Add" to add that to your customer message.

  • Click on the star next to the template to mark it as a favorite. This will add the template to a Favorite folder for easy retrieval next time. When you have templates marked as "favorites", the Favorites folder will be the default when using the folder icon.
