Getting Started with Templates

To create or edit your store’s Email and Text Templates:

  1. Click your initials in the top-right corner of DriveCentric.

  2. Select Store Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the left-hand menu, click Templates.

If you don’t see Store Settings, you may not have the required permissions. Check with your manager or admin.

Adding a New Template

You can create a new template two ways:

  • Click Add New in the top-right corner of the Templates section

OR

  • Open the folder where you want the template to live, then click Add New in that folder

You’ll be prompted to complete a few fields:

  • Folder: Choose the folder where this template will be stored

  • Template Name: Internal name your team will see when selecting the template

  • Subject: What the customer sees as the email subject line

  • Message: Write the body of the message here

💡 Using HTML?

Click the Source icon in the editor to open a modal. Paste in your HTML code, then click Save.

Once saved, the template is ready for your team to use directly from the Customer Card.

Using Email Templates

  • Click the Email tab on the Customer Card

  • Either:

    • Select a template folder and template from the dropdown

    • Or click the folder icon at the bottom of the message box

Inside the folder modal:

  • Click a template to preview it

  • Click Add to insert it into your message

  • Click the star icon next to a template to mark it as a favorite

  • Favorited templates appear in the Favorites folder, which will load by default

Using Text Templates

  1. Click the Text tab on the Customer Card

  2. Click the folder icon at the bottom right

From here, follow the same steps as email:

  • Select a folder and template

  • Preview and add the template

  • Star templates to add them to your Favorites for quicker access
