There are two ways to add a trade-in vehicle to a customer’s deal in DriveCentric. Use whichever method fits your workflow best.

Option 1: Use the Trade-In Button

On the Customer Deal Card, click the Trade-In button. This is the quickest way to add a trade while actively working the deal.

Option 2: Add from the Open Tab

  1. Open the Customer Deal Card.

  2. Select the Open tab.

  3. Under Trade Vehicles, click the plus (+) icon to add a trade-in vehicle.

Adding Trade Details

Once you start adding a trade, you’ll see a few options depending on your store setup:

  • Pull Appraisal

If your store is connected to an appraisal provider, you may be able to pull in vehicles that were recently added to your appraisal system.

  • Add Custom

Available to all users. This option allows you to manually enter trade-in details.

Manually Entering a Trade-In

When selecting Add Custom, complete the Trade-In Vehicle dialog:

  • With VIN

Enter the VIN and DriveCentric will automatically populate the year, make, and model.

  • Without VIN

Manually select the year, make, and model, then fill in any additional details you have.

Once saved, the trade-in vehicle will be added directly to the deal and available for Desking and appraisal workflows.
