If a cleared duplicate still needs to be merged, users with merge permissions can complete the process through the customer contact card. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Customer Deal Card
Locate the customer you wish to merge and open their deal card.
Click the green driver’s license icon to the left of the header.
Step 2: Access Duplicate Search
Click the down arrow next to the customer’s name.
Select Search Duplicates from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Merge the Profiles
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the merge process. Ensure that you carefully review the profiles being merged to confirm accuracy so that the final profile has the correct assigned users and deal source.
If the duplicate profile does not show when searching duplicates, check the following:
Confirm that the buyer and co-buyer roles are the same for both profiles.
To flip the Buyer/Co-Buyer roles, on the Customer Card under the Open tab you will see initials for both the Buyer and Co-Buyer. Click on the Buyer's initials and select FLIP BUYER / CO_BUYER
Confirm both profiles are set as Individual and one is not set as Company.
Under the Credit App section, the left side shows the Customer Name, Nickname, DOB, etc
