When a possible duplicate has been cleared, either from the notification bar (sidebar) or from the customer deal card header, and you find that the profile actually needs to be merged users with merge permission can merge the profiles using the customer contact card.
Step 1) Open the customer deal card for the customer you want to merge and click on the green drivers license icon to the left of the header.
Step 2) Click the down arrow to the right of the customer's name.
Step 3) Click Search Duplicates
Step 4) Complete the merge process following the prompts on the screen.
