The Duplicates Dashboard is designed to help you track delivered deals from your DMS that don’t fully match a customer record in DriveCentric CRM. Keeping customer records accurate is essential for clean data, and the Duplicates Dashboard ensures your dealership maintains precise reporting metrics like Closing Percentage, Days to Delivery, and more.

How Delivered Deal Merge Works

To properly link a CRM deal with a DMS-delivered deal, a DMS Deal Number must be assigned. This requires your dealership to push deals from DriveCentric to the DMS, which automatically populates customer and vehicle information in both systems. When the delivery record is sent back to DriveCentric, it is matched to the CRM record using the DMS Deal Number. If no DMS Deal Number is linked in the CRM, the delivered deal will appear in your Duplicates Dashboard.

Accessing the Duplicates Dashboard

You can find the Duplicates Dashboard under the “Delivered” stage in the Pipeline. Look for the icon with three silhouettes—clicking it will take you to the Duplicates Dashboard, where you can view all delivered deals that don’t have a perfect match between the DMS and CRM records.

Merging Records

  1. Click on the DMS-delivered deal to find possible duplicates in the CRM.

  2. In the left column, you’ll see the DMS-delivered deal. In the right column, you’ll find possible duplicate customer records in the CRM. Matching information is highlighted in yellow, and you’ll see a “Duplicate %” next to each record, along with the delivered deal’s details like delivery date, DMS deal number, and vehicle of interest.

  3. Select the record you want to merge the DMS-delivered deal into, then click “Next.”

Finalizing the Merge

Once you’ve selected the open deal from the dashboard, you’ll proceed to merge the records. The final deal’s Source Type and Description will default to the open deal’s information. If no open deal exists, the Source Type will show as Showroom - Imported from DMS.
