Sometimes deals are not moved to delivered because the Drive deal is not linked with the DMS deal.

An “Unlinked” deal occurs when there isn’t enough matching information between the DMS delivery record and the customer profile in DriveCentric. This can happen due to discrepancies in the following areas:

  • First and Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Physical Address

How to Prevent Unlinked Deals

To ensure that your delivered deals are linked correctly in the CRM:

  • Always push the deal from the CRM to the DMS. This helps establish a Customer Number and Deal Number, ensuring all customer details in the CRM match what is entered in the DMS.

How to Link Unlinked Deals

If your dealership has unlinked deals, follow these steps to link them to the correct CRM profile:

1. Click the “Unlinked” button on your DriveCentric dashboard.

2. Select the customer you wish to link.

3. In the next window, you’ll see a comparison of the matching information between the profiles. You will have three options to link the delivered deal back to the CRM:

  • Add New: Create a new deal and customer profile in the system

  • Match: Link the Delivered deal to an existing Open deal, which will automatically move the Open deal to the Delivered bucket

  • Add Deal: Attach the Delivered deal to an existing customer profile that doesn’t already have an open deal

After Linking the Deal

Once you’ve successfully linked the deal to the appropriate CRM customer profile:

  • Any open deal should move from “Sold” to “Delivered” in the CRM.

  • This change will be reflected in the sales Pipeline.

By following these steps, you can ensure seamless deal tracking and improve the accuracy of your CRM data.
