How to link an Unlinked Delivered deal from the DMS

Sometimes deals are not moved to delivered because the Drive deal is not linked with the DMS deal.

A deal is "Unlinked" when there is not enough matching information for our system to be sure the DMS delivery record is the same as the customer record inside DriveCentric;

  • Non-matching First and Last Name

  • Non-matching Email Address

  • Non-matching Phone Number

  • Non-matching Address

To help ensure delivered deals are linked in the CRM, always push the deal from the CRM to the DMS (establishing a Customer Number and Deal Number) making sure all customer information in the CRM matches what is being entered into the DMS.

If your store has Unlinked Deals, here is how you can link those deals to the CRM profile:
-Click the "Unlinked" button on the drive dashboard

-Choose the customer you want to link
(names of customers and dealerships have been blocked out for privacy)

This window displays the matching information between profiles and will present 3 options to choose from to link the delivered deal back to the CRM:

  1. The "Add New" option will add a new deal and new customer to the system.

  2. The "Match" option will match the Delivered deal to the Open deal in the CRM and move the open deal to the Delivered bucket.

  3. The "Add Deal" will add the Delivered deal to an existing customer profile that does not have a current open deal.

Now that you have linked the deal to the desired CRM Customer profile, if there was an Open Deal then the deal should move from "Sold" to "Delivered" in the CRM and should reflect so in the Pipeline!
